This commission in 2008 involved summarising the participatory broadcast work funded by Arts Council England from 2000 to 2007, working in partnership with BBC, Channel 4 and Five. These include the BBC projects Big Dance, Roots, Power of Art and Sultan’s Elephant; Channel 4 projects Operatunity, Road Trip and Ballet Hoo! and Five projects Fivearts cities Liverpool, Fivearts cities NewcastleGateshead and Fivearts cities Oxford. Sources included evaluation reports for each project, websites of participating organisations, videos and print material.

This commission involved writing the public-facing reports on Fivearts cities, a strategic, three-year arts broadcast partnership between Five and Arts Council England. These include Fivearts cities Liverpool (2005), Fivearts cities NewcastleGateshead (2006) and Fivearts cities Oxford (2007). Fivearts cities was dedicated to spotlighting the arts in the great cities of England and enabling people to develop their creativity. Senior Editor for New audiences for the arts: The New Audiences Programme 1998-2003, a document reporting back to the Department for Culture, Media and Sport on the five-year £20 million New Audiences Programme. The report is also aimed at artists, arts managers and strategic planners, and is available on the Arts Council New Audiences website.
Reports for the Arts Council New Audiences Programme on reader development projects funded through the programme. This involved researching project evaluation reports, analysing common themes and lessons learnt, and highlighting models of good practice.
